Etienne Deshormes has more than 25 years’ experience in capital markets and corporate finance. Since establishing Elm Capital in 2004, Etienne has built the firm on the principle that for each mandate, Elm Capital becomes an integral partner with the client sharing a common goal and keeping interests fully aligned. Etienne is the CEO of Elm Capital Associates Ltd and Elm Capital USA Ltd.

Previously he spent 11 years at JP Morgan as Head of the Corporate Finance Division in Belgium and then as Managing Director of Equity Capital Markets in London.

After leaving JP Morgan, Etienne was Managing Director at Zurich Capital Markets in London where he was responsible for developing the firm’s structured finance business in Europe. He also founded Global CFO Ltd, an electronic information platform for investment banks and CFOs.

Etienne graduated in History and in Economics at the Free University of Brussels. He is a Belgian Citizen and is fluent in French, Italian and Spanish.

As a Registered Representative of Elm Capital USA Limited, Etienne currently holds FINRA Series 7, Series 24 and Series 63 Licences.

Alberto Badino is responsible for origination and arrangement of primary fundraising mandates and secondary market transactions for general partners for Elm Capital Associates Ltd.

He has over 12 years of combined corporate finance and capital markets experience.

Alberto joined Elm Capital from Probitas Partners where he focused on origination and execution of primary capital raising and advisory mandates across private equity, credit and infrastructure.

He was previously at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in London in Corporate & Investment Banking, and started his career in corporate advisory in Milan.

Alberto has an MBA from the University of Oxford Saïd Business School, where he was Trinity College Saïd Graduate Scholar, and a degree cum laude in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Pavia in Italy. He is an Italian Citizen.

Samantha Page is responsible for all aspects of back office operations at Elm Capital and is Compliance Officer for Elm Capital Associates Limited.

She manages pivotal functions of the business and drives the development and implementation of policies, procedures, programs and practices within the firm. She further manages key administrative elements of client mandates, deal execution and marketing.

With over 20 years of relevant experience, Samantha previously worked at Sony Music Entertainment and Glenisters Solicitors.

Nicole Schoenauer is responsible for arrangement and syndication of private equity funds and advising on the sale of limited partnership interests in the secondary market for both Elm Capital Associates Ltd and Elm Capital USA Ltd.

Nicole joined Elm Capital from StepStone Group, where she was an investment professional focused on primary, secondary and co-investment opportunities in the European private equity space.

Prior to StepStone, Nicole spent 5 years in Leveraged Finance Origination with Deutsche Bank and UniCredit, working closely with European financial sponsors on underwriting LBO acquisition financings, add-on financings and dividend recapitalisations.

Nicole holds an MSc in Finance from EDHEC Business School in Nice and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Stephen F. Austin State University. She is a German citizen.

Nisha Chauhan is responsible for the arrangement and syndication of private equity funds and advising on the sale of limited partnership interests in the secondary market for both Elm Capital Associates Ltd and Elm Capital USA Ltd.

Nisha joined Elm Capital from Foresight Group, where she led the institutional capital fundraising for their UK SME focused Private Equity funds. Prior to Foresight Group, Nisha worked in the Audit team at Moore Stephens where she qualified as an ACA Chartered Accountant.

Nisha holds a BA in History from Kings College London and a Post Graduate Diploma in Economics from SOAS.

Elpida Chondrou is involved in the origination and execution of new private equity fundraising mandates.

Previously Elpida was an Analyst in the Investment Banking Division of HSBC where she focused on transactions in the retail sector. She started her career in Management Consulting in Athens.

Elpida holds an MSc in Finance from the London School of Economics and a degree in Accounting and Finance from the Athens University of Economics and Business. She is a Greek citizen.

Sophie Jervis is involved in the origination and execution of fundraising mandates and fund liquidity and restructuring solutions.

Sophie joined Elm Capital in 2016, having started her career at Bank of America Merrill Lynch within the Debt Capital Markets group.

Sophie holds a degree in Business & Enterprise Management with minors in Economics and Global Trade & Commerce Studies from Wake Forest University School of Business. She is a British citizen.

Sophie currently holds FINRA Series 79 and Series 63 Licences.

Lewis Hook is involved in the origination and execution of primary fundraising mandates and secondary market transactions.

Prior to joining Elm Capital, Lewis worked at Asante Capital Group where he was involved in the execution and distribution of primary capital raising and advisory mandates. Before this, Lewis worked at Atlantic-Pacific Capital, executing private equity, real estate and infrastructure primary fundraises. He started his career in the private equity audit team at Deloitte, where he qualified as an ACA Chartered Accountant.

Lewis holds a degree in Psychology from the University of Birmingham.

Hamza Khaldi is involved in the execution of fundraising mandates and in the sale of limited partnership interests in the secondary market.

Hamza joined Elm Capital from Palico, where he was in charge of overseeing relationships with institutional investors in Europe and Middle East.

Prior to joining Palico, Hamza worked as PE analyst at MCP, where he took part in various investments phases including market research, company valuation and IM preparation. He has also worked as Transaction Services consultant at Mazars, where he performed several DDs in cross-border deals.

Hamza received an MEng from Arts et Métiers ParisTech and holds both an MiM and an MSc in financial markets from EDHEC Business School. He has dual citizenship of France and Morocco.

Reeve Ganatra is involved in the execution of fundraising mandates and secondary market transactions across LP and GP-led mandates.

Reeve joined the firm from Tradition Private Markets where he was an analyst focusing on the execution of secondary market mandates across Private Equity, Real Estate, Infrastructure and Private Debt.

Reeve holds a BSc in Economics and Philosophy from the London School of Economics and Political Sciences (LSE).

Chloe Zivi is involved in the origination and execution of fundraising mandates and secondary market transactions across GP-led mandates.

Chloe joined Elm Capital from Goldman Sachs Asset Management, Hybrid Capital, where she was an analyst in the Special Situations Group team and focused on various investment phrases of both public and private acquisitions.

Chloe holds a MSc in Corporate Finance from EDHEC Business School. She is a French citizen.

Amy Keen is responsible for the overall coordination of a broad range of services that allow the firm to operate efficiently and provides operational support to the team.

She manages key aspects of office facilities and assists with day-to-day operations. She further assists with the firm’s compliance, processes client documentation and maintains the firm’s financials.

Previously Amy worked at Boussard & Gavaudan, where she supported the team by providing general administrative duties and assisted in running the day-to-day logistics and meetings in the office.

Grace Moses is responsible for the overall coordination of a broad range of services that allow the firm to operate efficiently and provides operational support to the team.

She manages key aspects of client services and assists with day-to-day operations. She further assists with the firm’s HR matters, processes client documentation and coordinates the firm’s marketing efforts.

Previously Grace worked at RBC Capital Markets where she supported the North American Equities Desk with day to day administrative duties and executed roadshows across Europe.

Darcey Hearn assists with the firm’s diary management, travel coordination and roadshow logistics and provides administrative support to the team.

Previously Darcey worked at Abrdn plc where she supported the Front of House team with daily duties and was responsible for the coordination of internal and external meetings across multiple locations.
